Minissha Lamba is all set to be seen in BHEJA FRY 2 opposite Vinay Pathak. Doesn’t she ever feel that she could have capitalized on the high that she gained after doing films with the likes of Ranbir Kapoor (BACHNA AE HASEENO) as well as Imran Khan (KIDNAP)?“I may think that I could have signed an XYZ film but at that very moment who knows whether your decision was correct or not,” says Minissha in a firm tone, “You take the best judgmental call and it is only in the hindsight when things become clearer. I guess everything has an advantage or a disadvantage and you learn to live by it.”
As per the synopsis of BHEJA FRY 2, Minissha plays a ’sweet and straight- forward media executive’ in the film. Is she happy with the kind of roles coming her way?
“I think for someone like me who comes from no film background and has learnt the tricks of the trade all by myself, it isn’t really bad. See, there has been no one to guide me on what to do and what not to do. This is the reason why I invest a lot of time before making any decision,” she says.
Some of these decisions which are expected to pay for Minissha are other upcoming films like HUM TUM AUR SHABANA and JOKER, both of which are expected to keep her busy for next one year at the least.
“Of course,” she smiles, “See, I may have not have won awards but what I am sure about is that no one can stand up and say that ’she is bad’. That’s the bare minimum confidence I have in myself.” Source
