It’s Shahenshah for the ace filmmaker’s next venture, our birdies found out. Buzz in the circles is that Ashutosh Gowariker, the talent house behind movies like ‘Lagaan’, ‘Swades’, ‘Jodhaa Akbar’, has planned a movie with mega star Amitabh Bachchan in the lead.In his last movie ‘Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey’, Gowariker had the icon’s son Abhishek Bachchan.
Birdies shared that Big B will don the role of a detective in Gowariker’s forthcoming venture and some even say that it is going to be a la James Bond character. We don’t know how far this is true, but it is believed that Amitabh loved the story and his role and instantly gave his nod for the project.
Sr. Bachchan had earlier worked in Gowariker’s film ‘Lagaan’, by giving his voice for the narration part.
