Allan Marks and Lillian Hartley create a new history, not only in their lives, but also the world record. The couple married at the age of 98 years and 95 years on February 29, 2012. “I want to live with Allan in the rest of my life,” said Hartley. Marks stated the same thing, “I want to be with Lillian for the rest of my age.” No wonder if their marriage was recorded in the Guinness Book of World Records.

Apparently, Lauren Lubeck Blair and David E. Hough enjoy their marriage. One time is not enough to say the pledge as lively as dead, so they kept repeating that promise every year. Their first wedding took place in 1984. Want a different atmosphere, Lauren and David always choose a different location to that vow every year. Last promise they made at the UPS store in Nashville.

Age difference makes marriage lasted 63 years until her husband died at the age of 93. The photo shown is a picture of Gertrude with her husband, “John is very tall, my feet did not even touch the floor,” he said. Gertrude Grubb Janeway died in January 2003.

Herbert and Fisher Zelmyra is a couple with the longest marriage. They have been married for 86 years. The man died at the end of February this year at the age of 105 years. Although the elderly, this pair can be inspiration for many people, given the divorce more easily done. Just look at the photo above, how they are holding hands, a warm and loving. On Valentine 2010, the pair wrote “Learn to be united, not separated,”

I hope their story can be a lesson all of us. Love can approach anyone regardless of age. Never too late for a wedding. To be sure, the wedding will be the happiest day if it could be maintained until death do us part. Marriage can make someone fall in love every day, throughout the age.
