Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara cast Hrithik Roshan, Farhan Akhtar, Katrina Kaif and Kalki Koechlin has taken to the road.As a part of the unique promotional strategy designed by director Zoya Akhtar and her team, they will make a road trip from Mumbai to Delhi and halt in between too.
The trip starts from Bandra, Mumbai on July 7, with stopovers at Surat, Baroda, Ahmedabad, Ajmer, Udaipur and finally to end the journey in Gurgaon, on July 10. Our source said, “They will possibly drive 1500 kms on their own.
Once in Delhi, the star-cast will perform at a live concert in Gurgaon. This is the first time that such a different marketing strategy has been planned to promote a film.”
Producer Ritesh Sidhwani said, “Over a period of three months while we shot the film in various parts of the country, we ourselves took the road instead of taking flights to these places. When you think of road trips why think only about Europe or USA? India is equally beautiful. We connect six cities like Surat, Baroda, Ahmedabad, Ajmer, Udaipur and then finally Delhi.
The actors were excited about the road trip and to meet the fans of different cities on our way . I am sure after watching the film you will call your friends and say that lets just spend time together. ”
The film will hit the theatres on July 15. Hope they return in time.
