Lotus F1 Launches the Latest Car in the UK

Team Lotus has finally released a new car called the E21 in Enstone, England on Monday (28/1) local time. As the Formula 1 season, this car will still be driven by Kimi Raikkonen and Romain Grosjean.

“We’ve done a lot of things. Entire team has deployed his heart and soul to build this car,” said Lotus technical director, James Allison told Sky Sports. “It will be great fun.”

According to Allison, there will be many similarities between the new car with the old. This is because the F1 regulations are not changed too much over the past year.

“Regulation 2013 season is very similar to the regulation of 2012, so there will be many similarities in our car. Detailed part of the car we were going to improve their performance,” said Allison.

As with last season, Lotus livery cars is dominated by black and punctuated by the color of gold. But now the red color on the nose of the car more visible than last year.

This car will undergo its debut at the track in pre-season testing in Jerez, Spain on 5-8 February. Grosjean will drive in the first two days prior to submission to Raikkonen. (Ball /)
