Deepika’s Wish For A Katrina Like Song

Deepika Padukone wanted a song like ‘Mora Piya’ from the film ‘Rajneeti’ to be picturised on her — just like the way it was picturised on actors Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif. Known for the melodious music in his films, Prakash Jha, for his upcoming film ‘Aarakshan’, was surprised when he heard of Deepy’s request. A source adds, “Deepika is a smart girl and knows exactly how to put forward her wishes. Before the film’s shooting, Deepika requested via sms to Prakash Jha to feature a love ballad on her, with a happy face smiley at the end. And her wish was granted.
When asked about the request, Deepika said, “I remember how ‘Mora piya’ was such a rage. I remember messaging him (Prakash Jha) to please give me a good romantic song in his new film because Prakashji has a really good sense of music. I was really looking forward to shooting this song and it’s turned out amazing. Till now, Mora piya was always played on loop on my mp3 player wherever I was travelling. But now its ‘Seedhe point pe aaona’, which is such a playful and cute romantic song.”
The song features Deepika opposite actor Saif Ali Khan. Just like the Ranbir-Kat chemistry, there is a lot of buzz about Deepika-Saif’s camaraderie, which was visible in their earlier film ‘Love Aaj Kal’. But we’ll have to wait and watch to know if this number becomes a hit amongst the youth… given that the song is a result of Deepika’s sweet persuasion.

Amitabh Bachchan Knows Nothing About Politics

The brand ambassador of Gujarat Tourism, Amitabh Bachchan today skirted a question whether he would campaign for Chief Minister Narendra Modi in the next year’s assembly elections.
“I am not into politics. I do not know if there are elections next year,” Bachchan said, when asked if he would campaign for Modi.
“I don’t know about politics. I have conceded defeat to the politics,” the actor said, when asked if he planned to remake his political career.
Bachchan, whose promotional campaign for Gujarat tourism ‘Khushboo Gujarat Ki’ has been a success, was here to promote his latest film ‘Buddha Hoga Tera Baap’.
He said this was the first time he had come to the state after he completed the first phase of shooting for the promotional films for Gujarat Tourism.
“The second phase has also been planned and I will be coming for it soon,” he added.
When asked if he would like to star in a Gujarati film, Bachchan said, “I would like to do a Gujarati film, if given an opportunity.”

Why Imtiaz Ali Threw John Abraham Out Of His Film?

Earlier John Abraham was to play the lead in Imtiaz Ali’s Rockstar, which was being produced by UTV Motion Pictures at that time. However, the real reason behind the exit of John and UTV, and the entry of Ranbir Kapoor and Ashtavinayak was always unknown.
A reliable source reveals, “Imtiaz was a struggling newcomer (just one film old, Socha Na Tha) and not a big director that he is today when he met John for Rockstar.
Anurag who was shooting No Smoking with John, suggested Imtiaz to meet the actor. He met him and narrated the script of Rockstar. John loved it and together they went to UTV to produce their film.”
The source adds, “The production house agreed but they had a condition. They also signed John for three films. They thought it was risky to make a film with a new director. So they advised John to do another project before Imtiaz’s movie. John agreed to shoot Goal first. And this meant another two years of wait for Imtiaz.”
This apparently, really disappointed the young director. “Imtiaz was upset with John for not standing by him. If John really believed in Imtiaz’s script and had put his foot down, UTV would have given in as well. So instead of waiting for John he decided to look for other actor,” our source further informs.

Preity Zinta Is Learning French For Her Upcoming ‘Ishkq In Paris’

As reported earlier, “Ishq In Paris”, an Indo-French project, is Preity’s first production venture and she plays a half-Indian half-French girl who falls in love in one of the most expensive cities in the world to shoot in.
“From the start, we were very sure that Preity would get her French absolutely right with the correct accent and pronunciation. We did not want to dub her French dialogues. By the time we start shooting, I am dead sure Preity will know as much French as any native and speak the language fluently enough to pass off as a Frenchwoman,” said Prem Soni, the director.
He thinks there’s something distinctly French about Preity’s looks and added: “So many people have commented on how French she looks. I couldn’t have cast anyone else in the role.”
So expensive is Paris to shoot in that Sanjay Gadhvi had to shelve his Katrina Kaif-Imran Khan romance “7 Days In Paris” due to the costs involved.
“I’m aware of this. But for ‘Ishq In Paris’, it was always Paris or nothing. I couldn’t locate this love story anywhere else. I started writing the script two years ago. From the start I was sure it had to be Paris or nothing,” says the director who spent his formative years in Spain.
Though the director doesn’t want to reveal this, there will apparently be two different versions of the film – one for the Indian and the other for the international market.

There is indeed a lot of expectation from MURDER 2. After all if the talkie and song promos are any indication, ‘being bold’ has seemingly taken an altogether different meaning for a leading lady in MURDER 2, Jacqueline Fernandez.
“I won’t deny that…continues Jackie “So yes; there were intensive conversations around how to shoot certain intimate scenes between Emraan and me. But then it wasn’t like ‘let’s make it graphic’ or ‘make it way too revealing’,” reveals Jackie, “It was more about Mohit looking at capturing the right moment on screen and ensure that the intimacy came alive. Now if that required both of us to allow our inhibitions to fly away then that’s fine. We did everything that was required to make our intimacy look convincing enough on the screen.”
Though Jacqueline Fernandez doesn’t quite go into details talking about the scenes that are expected to make audience stand up and take notice, she promises that there is enough sensationalism in the Emraan Hashmi starrer.

The Road Journey Of ZNMD Stars

The stars of ZINDAGI NA MILEGI DOBARA are all set to surprise you . Hrithik Roshan, Farhan Akhtar, Abhay Deol, Katrina Kaif, Zoya Akhtar (director) and Ritesh Sidhwani (producer) fulfilled the promised made to audience and took a road trip adventure from Mumbai to Delhi in four days.

Ritesh Sidhwani, the producer says “This film is about a bachelor trip that the three boys decide to go on. And now we are gearing up to relive the experience once again.”
ZNMD is about living each moment like there would be no second chance. The film is all set to hit the theatres on 15th July.
