Amisha Patel’s Rapport With Kangna & Sanju Baba

Amisha Patel and Kangna Ranaut are still not involved in a cat fight. Especially so since post Kangana’s close liaison with Sanjay Dutt, the KAHO NA PYAAR HAI girl has flashed her “I am closer to Manyata” card time and again. So while Kangna has continued to extend her professional alliance with Sanju by doing close to half a dozen films with him already, Amisha gradually found herself left far behind in the race.
However all of this may just change in a couple of month’s time. CHATUR SINGH TWO STAR which was launched in 2008 has now been revived and it would finally see the light of the day this Eid. The stars in question? Sanjay Dutt and Amisha.
“This was a film that Amisha had signed with Sanjay Dutt when they shared a great personal rapport,” informs a source, “Together they had also done TATHASTU and though the film had flopped, Sanjay didn’t forget Amisha. So when he reunited with his NEHLE PE DEHLA director Ajay Chandok for CHATUR SINGH TWO STAR, it was a given that Amisha would star in it.”
Though none of the two leading ladies are coming out in open with daggers in hand, rest assured there would be some fight for supremacy taking place on screen. After all that’s the least chaturaai can expect from the Patel girl who has created quite some GADAR when she started off with nothing less than a blockbuster like KAHO NAA PYAAR HAI a decade ago.

How Katrina Kaif Bagged Her Role In Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara?

Zoya Akhtar’s second outing ZINDAGI NA MILEGI DOBARA is eagerly awaited. Reason? ZNMD boasts of big stars and actors like Hrithik Roshan, Katrina Kaif, Farhan Akhtar, Abhay Deol and Kalki.
Quite surprisingly Katrina came in much later while rest of the cast was already finalised. In fact, Zoya even auditioned a lot of women before roping in the beautiful actress - Katrina Kaif. Reveals Zoya, “Yes that’s true we auditioned a lot of women before finalising Katrina.
Actually we needed a half Indian and half Caucatian girl, who would be willing to ride a bike, scuba dive and one who is physically fit. I tested a lot of people from New york and London but nothing really interested me. Also, I didn’t know Katrina at all, till I met her at a party. It was only at that time I realised ‘Sh*t man. What am I doing. She is the one I was looking for’.”
Zoya Akhtar’s ZNMD, which is touted as guys’ flick, does have scope for women as well. She says, “Of course they do. You take any example RANG DE BASANTI or DIL CHAHTA HAI or ROCK ON or any boys film the women have very pertinent parts. I mean I don’t write bad characters for women.”
Zoya is quite fond of films on raod trips and from long time she was looking forward to do something on similar lines and then ZINDAGI happened. “I love roadtrips. And I have always wanted to do a film on road trips. My first film LUCK BY CHANCE was very interior movie set in Mumbai. So this time around I wanted go outdoors. I wanted to do something visually completely different. Reema Kagti, my co-writer, and me started talking discussing about it and the idea just came in. It is the fastest script written - just 3 months,” concludes the filmmaker.

Arshad, Vivek & Sanjay In ‘Zilla Ghaziabad’

Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi, who are part of two franchises already, MUNNABHAI and DHAMAAL, would now be seen in a dramatic thriller titled ZILLA GHAZIABAD. This is not all as the film would also feature Vivek Oberoi who earlier locked horns with Sanjay in SHOOTOUT AT LOKHANDWALA earlier.
Confirms an industry source, “Yes, the film is happening for sure. It deals with politics and mafia as prevalent in Ghaziabad (Uttar Pradesh). Though there have been quite a films set in mafia of Mumbai and some have even explored the underbelly of Delhi, not many films have stepped in this part of the country. ZILLA GHAZIABAD would be reflecting the current socio-political situation there.”
While Vivek has already been confirmed for the part, Sanjay is also more or less confirmed though he is yet to sign on the dotted line. While the two have grey shades to them, the interesting fact is that Arshad plays an out-and-out negative role in the film.
“I can’t talk much about the film as it is yet to go on floors. However, what I can say is that though I am playing a baddie for the first time in my career,” says Arshad who made his debut with TERE MERE SAPNE (1996) close to a decade and a half ago, “I won’t say that other two are any white either. No one is absolutely positive and faraq sirf thode kam-zyaada ka hai. Woh kam bure hain, main thoda zyaada hoon.”

Vivek Oberoi Shares His Feelings Of Acting With Hrithik Roshan

Hrithik Roshan and Vivek Oberoi had started their career around the same time. While it was in year 2000 when Hrithik had debuted with a romantic action drama KAHO NAA PYAAR HAI, Vivek was happy being ‘Chandu’ for Ram Gopal Varma in underworld saga COMPANY (2002).Though they have been friends for long, it would be for the first time with KRRISH 2 that they would be seen together.
“Hrithik has been a good friend over the years and it is fabulous to be finally working with him,” says Vivek in a glad tone, “Somehow we never got an opportunity to be working together but now after almost a decade this is finally happening. I am glad.”
His admiration doesn’t stop at beta Roshan. Mention Papa Roshan and his eyes brighten up.
“I mean look at his track record, it is almost 100%. Can you believe that? He is someone who understands commercial cinema so well. ‘Phenomenal’ would be the right word to describe him. No wonder, I have complete faith in him as a director,” gushes Vivek, “I am extremely excited about starting with the shoot as my role also has turned out to be just fantastic. There is so much scope to perform.”
So while Hrithik would be playing the quintessential hero in KRRISH 2, Vivek promises to become the Gabbar of the enterprise.
“It is fun to be playing ‘Raavan’ against a ‘Ram’. Here Hrithik is ‘Ram’ and I am his nemesis. KRRISH is a brand and to be a part of this legacy is no less an honour. I am indeed treating this as a film which would bring the Gabbar out of me. I am aspiring to be the meanest baddie ever,” concludes Vivek in a confident tone.
